The Sr. Talent Acquisition (TA) Partner/Strategist is responsible for leading high-touch, complex hiring processes in a VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity) environment, supporting shared services across multiple companies. This role requires expertise in sourcing, screening, and engaging top-tier candidates for leadership, speciality, and niche roles, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic workforce needs. The Senior TA Partner develops advanced recruitment strategies, builds strong partnerships with hiring managers, and ensures an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring lifecycle. This role also serves as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, navigating complexity and delivering high levels of service.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:

Strategic Recruitment and Candidate Sourcing – 65%

  • Partners with senior leadership and hiring managers to understand organizational goals, workforce planning, and hiring needs for highly specialized and leadership roles.
  • Develops and implements sophisticated sourcing strategies tailored to unique and high-impact roles, leveraging tools such as Boolean searches, networking, market intelligence, and executive search techniques.
  • Conducts proactive outreach and builds pipelines of high-caliber candidates for critical positions across multiple child companies.
  • Screens candidates to ensure alignment with technical and organizational fit.
  • Conducts comprehensive interviews to assess qualifications and suitability for complex and strategic roles.

Candidate Experience and Stakeholder Collaboration – 20%

  • Serves as a thought leader on talent strategy, influencing cross-functional teams, including HR leadership, business units, and executive stakeholders.
  • Delivers a best-in-class candidate experience by providing clear, timely communication and feedback.
  • Advises hiring managers on market trends, role complexities, and competitive talent acquisition strategies.
  • Facilitates interviews and selection processes for leadership and critical roles, ensuring equitable and unbiased decision-making.
  • Provides consultative support and training to hiring managers, ensuring alignment with DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) goals and talent acquisition best practices.
  • Partners with marketing and leadership to develop and promote a compelling employer brand and Employee Value Proposition (EVP) that resonates with diverse candidate segments.

Data Analysis and Reporting – 10%

  • Tracks and analyzes key performance indicators (KPIs) for recruitment effectiveness, such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, and diversity metrics.
  • Provides actionable insights and recommendations to optimize recruitment strategies and address hiring challenges.

External Partner and Shared Services Coordination – 5%

  • Manages relationships with external agencies, executive search firms, and other talent acquisition partners for shared services and child companies.
  • Ensures consistent service delivery across entities and alignment with organizational goals.


QUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of talent acquisition experience, with a focus on complex and high-impact roles.
  • Experience recruiting in a VUCA environment or for shared service structures preferred.
  • Certifications such as AIRS, LinkedIn Recruiter, or SHRM-CP/SCP are highly desirable.
  • Workday experience preferred.
