We are hiring for our client in the Medical Device manufacturing industry.
Duration: 12 months contract (extendable)
Location: Miami, FL
Job Type: Onsite (Monday to Friday)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing of new or modified hematology analyzers, ensuring compliance with plans, procedures, and schedules.
- Execute system verification testing, including customer workflows, Quality Control, Calibration, and whole blood specimen analysis.
- Troubleshoot product performance issues, collaborating with Software, Engineering, and customer support teams.
- Analyze technical data using statistical methods, reporting and documenting issues promptly.
- Prepare procedures, reports, and presentations, and participate in design reviews.
- Follow all safety procedures and policies in the laboratory.
Qualifications:
- B.S. in a related field with 5+ years of experience or M.S. with 3+ years of experience. Certified Medical Technologist (ASCP/AMT preferred).
- Experience in laboratory workflow, hematology, and LIS test order processing.
- Knowledge of laboratory statistics and proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with data analysis programs like JMP is a plus.
- Strong technical writing, presentation, and communication skills; ability to work in a team environment.
- Preferred: Experience with middleware and LIS setup and troubleshooting
