As we continue to grow, we will need highly skilled Construction Project Managers to join our team to support our various clients (LAWA, City of LA, LACCD, DMH, LACMTA, and more). 


The Role

Our project managers will be responsible for overseeing planning and project phases while working closely with designers and engineers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. This role will play a key part in driving the success of our clients’ initiatives and ensuring alignment with their business goals.


Responsibilities

·       Serve as the primary liaison and owner representative, directing and managing project communication &

execution to meet goals and objectives

·       Develop project scope, manage procurement processes for designers and contractors, and ensure compliance

with contractual obligations

·       Supervise all technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of assigned projects, maintaining detailed

documentation of scope, agreements, and specifications

·       Plan and define program goals, collaborating with team members and team management to create budgets and

schedules

·       Oversee the design and construction processes, resolving technical issues and coordinating necessary approvals,

inspections, and tests

·       Conduct field surveys to inform strategic design and construction decisions, and review change proposals for

compliance and value alignment

·       Manage project timelines, ensuring critical milestones are met and mitigating obstacles to construction

efficiency

·       Monitor adherence to Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plans and enforce program requirements across all

project areas

·       Oversee the timely processing and resolution of RFIs to ensure clarity and compliance with project specifications

·       Prepare progress reports for senior management and a monthly risk report for the Program Board

·       Manage the project closeout process, ensuring all documentation is completed efficiently to avoid unnecessary

costs

·       Lead efforts to obtain necessary permits, coordinating with the design team and contractors to address

regulatory requirements efficiently

·      Promote safe construction practices, ensuring performance exceeds industry standards


Minimum Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, aviation, construction management, business or another related

technical field

·       6 + years of project management experience in active operating environments with projects more than        

$15 million in value (Ideally aviation, hospitals, universities, and major retail gallerias)

·       In depth knowledge of project life cycles from Pre-Construction to Estimating/Buyout to Phasing to

Implementation to Closeout

·       Experience with various delivery methods, including Design/Build, Design+CMAR, Design-Bid-Build

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam

·       Ability to work in CAD or REVIT

·       Excellent written and oral communication skills and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations


Preferred Qualification:

·  Master’s degree in construction management, engineering, or another related field

·  Certifications: PMP, AAAE, LEED, PE, and/ or any other relevant professional licensure of certification


Salary Range: $110K - $165K based on experience 

Status: Fulltime W2 – Medical, Vision, & Dental Insurance 

Location: Onsite – Jobsite & Corporate Headquarters located in Greater area
