Summary
BioPhase is seeking a detail-oriented individual to assist with the core activities involved in the manufacturing of diagnostic products. Key responsibilities include supporting product filling and labeling operations according to established procedures. This temporary position offers a starting pay of $20.50 per hour, with a typical workweek from Monday to Friday, 4:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in product filling and labeling processes, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support kit assembly operations as directed by the supervisor, ensuring compliance with procedural standards.
- Accurately record device history and maintain all related documentation in a timely and organized manner.
- Prepare, operate, and clean equipment used in filling and labeling processes, adhering to SOPs.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including performing end-of-week clean-up tasks promptly and thoroughly.
- Follow established safety and environmental guidelines, reporting any safety hazards immediately.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, the candidate must demonstrate the following qualifications and skills:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: 0-1 year of relevant work experience; experience operating filling and labeling equipment is preferred.
- Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating procedures, and maintenance instructions. Capable of documenting manufacturing activities and communicating effectively with coworkers.
- Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Experience using the metric system and counting items accurately.
- Physical Demands: The role requires regular physical activity. Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities.
