The Levy Group designs, manufactures, imports, markets, and distributes outerwear, swimwear, dresses, activewear, men’s tailored clothing, and sportswear. Headquartered in New York City, The Levy Group manages, elevates, and builds the long-term value of consumer brands by partnering with best-in-class manufacturers and retailers.


Responsibilities:

• Negotiate costing and review with Head of Production.

• Set up and maintain cost charts daily.

• Weekly review of the production WIP and shipping.

• Work cross functionally with Sales and Design to review production and samples schedules.

• Daily communication with suppliers.

• Manage the production process with overseas factories to ensure correct execution and on time shipment of all production orders.

• Communicates with overseas vendors to ensure production follows all requirements of specific retailers. Passes information to factories on retailer special price tickets.

• Reviews and comments on trims specific to each PO - labels, hangtags, price tickets, packaging layouts and shipping marks etc.

• Creates T&A (Time and Action Calendar) for each PO and monitors its execution on Master WIP (Work in Progress) report. Communicate any potential shifts or delays.

• Works with factories, forwarders, billing department, shipping manager and warehouse on shipment bookings and collects all shipping documents match the pre-agreed terms.

• Monitors weekly shipment reports from forwarders and communicates with sales teams, shipping manager and warehouse any delivery updates.


Qualifications:

• 10+ years in Production Management in a similar position for a fashion company.

• Knowledge of Production Systems, such as AS400, Blue Cherry.

• Working knowledge of production processes, shipping documents, trims, and vendor correspondence.

• Excellent organization and communication skills.

• Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Working as part of a team.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office systems such as Outlook, Word & Excel.
