Technical Trainer

Our client, an autonomous vehicle company, is seeking a Technical Trainer to join their team. As a Technical Trainer, you will be part of the Base Operations Department supporting training initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will have excellent presentation skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and proven interpersonal abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Technical Trainer
Location: Foster City, CA
Shift: Monday to Friday; Day shift (8am-5pm or 9am-6pm)
Pay Range: $53.25
What’s the Job?
• Research, analyze, and identify specific training needs to support team objectives.
• Select appropriate delivery methodology and develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and student handouts.
• Develop and administer an ongoing training program that includes onboarding and continued employee growth.
• Work closely with internal and external teams to define requirements for all training types.
• Schedule and conduct both classroom and on-the-job instruction and track completion metrics.
What’s Needed?
• At least 3 years of experience in assessing training needs and developing instructional materials.
• Strong technical and analytical skills with experience in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms).
• Excellent presentation skills and the ability to deliver engaging training sessions.
• Proven interpersonal, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Willingness to travel 20% of the time to other Zoox locations in the Bay Area.
