Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive estate plans for clients, including the preparation and review of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents.
  • Advise clients on estate planning strategies, asset protection, and tax implications.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to estate planning transactions.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in estate planning laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients, financial advisors, and other professionals to ensure effective estate planning solutions.
  • Provide clear and actionable advice to clients on complex estate planning issues.
  • Manage multiple client matters and ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Illinois.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in estate planning transactional law.
  • Extensive knowledge of estate planning, trusts, wills, and estate tax laws.
