POSITION SUMMARY:

The Information Technology (IT) Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing IT

projects from inception to completion. This position requires a combination of technical

knowledge, project management expertise, and excellent communication skills. The IT Project

Manager should be adept at managing project timelines, budgets, and resources while maintaining

a focus on achieving project goals and stakeholder satisfaction. Candidates should have a proven

track record of managing IT projects, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work

collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Plan, execute, and finalize IT projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.

 Define project scope, goals, success criteria, and deliverables that support business goals in

collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

 Develop project plans and associated communications documents.

 Effectively communicate project expectations to team members, and stakeholders in a

timely and clear fashion.

 Interact with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.

 Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.

 Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other

stakeholders.

 Provide senior management with clear and accurate communication of project status and

issues.

 Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

 Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.

 Track project milestones and deliverables.

 Develop and deliver status reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and

presentations.

 Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze

results, and troubleshoot problem areas.

 Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks and issues, and

prepare and implement contingency plans.

 Evaluate and manage the implementation third party solutions and ongoing relationships

with vendors to ensure company goals and objectives are met.

 Effectively multiple projects simultaneously.

 Work with training and support teams as needed to create training, support, and end-user

documentation.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

 Bachelor's degree in a related Information Technology, Computer Sciences or Business


discipline is preferred.

 PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is highly desirable.

 Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT project management.

 Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

 Strong familiarity with project management methodologies, best practices, and software tools

such as Jira and TargetProcess.

 General mortgage banking background.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Requires the ability to operate a personal computer, fax machine, copier, climb stairs, bend, stoop,

reach, lift, move, and carry materials and supplies weighing 35 pounds or less. Finger dexterity is

required to operate a computer keyboard.
