Location: Seattle, WA

CORY is hiring a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who is passionate about multifamily real estate and ready to drive growth and make a real impact every day while leading teams.

Your Responsibilities as a Leader:

  1. Financial Leadership: Direct the financial management of various entities within the real estate space, with a strong focus on multifamily residential assets.
  2. Strategic Financial Planning: Oversee financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, aligning the organization's overall financial goals.
  3. Accounting Standards: Implement and maintain rigorous accounting principles and practices to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  4. Strategic Initiatives: Participate in strategic planning and effective time management to drive financial success and organizational growth.
  5. Risk Management: Conduct advanced financial modeling and risk assessments to protect assets and ensure the organization's economic stability.
  6. Collaborative Processes: Coordinate with various departments to facilitate smooth processing, supporting the organization's diverse needs.

The Skills & Experience You Possess:

  1. At least 15 years of progressive experience in financial management.
  2. CPA certification is an asset but not a requirement.
  3. Experience in the real estate industry, preferably in multifamily.
  4. Proven expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, with a deep understanding of advanced accounting principles.
  5. Exceptional skills in strategic planning and time management.
  6. A strong background in financial modeling and risk management.
  7. Proficiency in Yardi, RealPage Products, Microsoft Excel, and QuickBooks is essential.
