Job Summary:

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Imaging:
    • Screen patients for any precautions or contraindications before the exam
    • Explain and prepare patients for MRI procedures, ensuring they understand the process and positioning
    • Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated body parts, providing patient support throughout the process
    • Adjust MRI scan parameters correctly and as needed
  • MRI Department Support:
    • Assist in maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades
    • Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as necessary
    • Assist with training new associates, providing technical expertise
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Maintain patient records accurately within the Radiology Information System (RIS)
    • Ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines

Requirements:

  • Full-time position, Monday-Friday, 1:00pm-9:30pm, with a Saturday rotation every 5 weeks
  • Positive attitude and working relationships with radiologists, customers, and peers
  • Ability to follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to safety regulations
