MRI Technologist Job Summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our radiology team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support, ensuring a positive experience for each patient.
  • Screen patients for any precautions or contraindications before exams, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
  • Explain and prepare patients for MRI procedures, positioning them correctly for optimal image quality.
  • Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision, adjusting scan parameters as needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records within our Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Requirements:
  • ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiography.
  • Licensed Radiological Technologist in the applicable state, if required.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Training and experience sufficient to competently perform MRI procedures independently.
