Job Description

***Only qualified Database Migration Analyst candidates located near the Atlanta, GA area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***


Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Four years of related experience

OR

• MASTERS degree

OR

• Two years of experience at the lower-level Database Migration Analyst position equivalent


Required Skills:

• Experience with data migration processes (5 Years)

• Experience with SQL and creating Stored Procedures (5 Years)

• Experience with a relational database, such as DB2, SQL Server (3 Years)

• Experience with PostgreSQL (1 Years)

• Experience with DBeaver Tool orIBM Data Studio (1 Years)

• Experience with Erwin Data Modeling Tool (1 Years)

• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server (1 Years)


Desired Skills:

• Experience with Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) tools SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and DB2-LUW export utilities

• Strong knowledge of Unemployment Insurance (UI) Benefits and Tax

• Strong knowledge of data mapping process and best practices

We are looking for a Data Migration Analyst to perform the analysis to migrate DB2-LUW data to a PostgreSQL environment. The candidate will play a crucial role in planning, executing, and validating data migration, ensuring data integrity is accurate.


Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute data migration strategies, including data cleansing and validation processes to ensure data quality

• Create complex SQL scripts and stored procedures for ETL process

• Work with Application Development SME’s to ensure data is mapped properly and ensure the ETL process is optimized

• Maintain documentation and status on a SharePoint site
