Essential Job Skills/Qualifications

· 4-year civil or structural engineering degree or equivalent technical training and related experience.

· Experience in reinforced concrete, steel, and wood design and analysis of foundations, concrete or steel structures.

· Professional Engineer certification preferred.

· Familiarity with all applicable building codes.

· Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with both engineers and non-technical individuals. Ability to work well with others.

· Knowledge of construction methods and materials.

· Strong organization, multi-tasking and time management skills.

· Self-motivation and attention to details.

· Strong computer skills, including CAD & REVIT.

· Exceptional problem-solving skills and strong work ethics.


Job Responsibilities

  • 1. Analyze, design, and create proposal through construction documents for various structures and structural elements.
  • Coordinate drawings with other disciplines.
  • Develop, manage, and implement office standards for structural documentation in Revit platform.
  • Respond to field questions, including making on site visits.
  • Work with vendors and subcontractors on specialty foundations and unique steel details
