Sales Engineer

Position Description:
The Sales Engineer provides direct support to members of the Sales Team to drive productivity while increasing team efficiency and conversion rates.
The Sales Engineer role is a 12–24-month development track to Sales.
Sales Support for Prospecting and Active Projects
The Sales Engineer provides transaction support (active and prospective) to facilitate communication among Sales, Support, and Clients. The Sales Engineer will coordinate and/or prepare relevant reporting collateral for the Sales Team, including Market Intelligence Reports (MIR), and materials to educate prospects and clients. The Sales Engineer must communicate to the team in a timely, consistent, and accurate manner. Some, but not all, typical activities of this position will include:
- Project/Prospect Development
- Review all open projects for their status and communicate appropriately with Sales, Support, and Client
- Manage and follow-up on leads for active brokerage and inventory deals and create call lists for sales to engage with prospects
- Own local airports and set-up meetings with flight departments w/ Sales
- Manage sales drip initiatives and visits (client articles, follow ups post-closing, etc)
- Assist in content creation for product and sales engagement
- Assist in creating Sales Collateral
- Develop a network of trusted brokers and other industry colleagues
- Perfect the OGARA and your personal pitches

- Self-starter who can determine daily activities without direct supervision
- Attention to detail
- Able to learn and adapt to dynamic situations
- Willingness and ability to travel, as needed, to support Sales, projects or clients
- Willingness to go above and beyond for clients (internal and external) needs
- Develop relationships with external sources (clients, researchers, brokers, pilots, etc.)
- Maintain +’s in the OGARA LEGACY Core Values
- Maintain 80% in EOS metrics Scorecard, On Time To Dos, and Rocks
