Technical Sales Engineer

Position Description:
As a Sales Engineer, you will play a vital role in expanding the presence of our company’s products in the Atlanta market. In this consultative sales role, you will be responsible for driving growth and achieving sales budgets by developing and executing a territory sales plan focused on network solutions that leverage our industry-leading product capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate relationships with end-users, contractors, cable assembly houses, distributors, and consultants to generate preference for our products over competitors.
- Manage and optimize the NPI contractor and Consultant EAP programs within the territory.
- Coordinate sales efforts with distributor representatives to maximize sales penetration and provide ongoing training to enhance their sales effectiveness.
- Keep an updated Opportunity Board for projects valued above $50K.
- Maintain efficient time management and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Using the CRM system, submit timely call reports for all in-person and significant phone conversations.
Requirements:
- 2-3+ years of technical sales experience
- Strong consultative communication skills and solution-selling capabilities
- Bachelor of Science Degree (preferred)
Compensation Package:
***Up to $95,000 Base Salary + 25% Quarterly Bonus Plan + 5% Company Bonus + $700 monthly auto allowance + Expense Budget + 401k match + Pension plan***
Benefits: Full Comprehensive Benefits Package
Travel: Local regional travel throughout Atlanta territory. Home every night and weekend. Some occasional overnight travel to meet with Alabama customers and attend trade shows.
