RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Imaging:
- Screen patients for any precautions or contraindications before the exam
- Explain and prepare patients for MRI procedures, ensuring they understand the process and positioning
- Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated body parts, providing patient support throughout the process
- Adjust MRI scan parameters correctly and as needed
- MRI Department Support:
- Assist in maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades
- Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as necessary
- Assist with training new associates, providing technical expertise
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain patient records accurately within the Radiology Information System (RIS)
- Ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
