Job Summary

Role Overview: As an Engineer 3 QA with an infrastructure concentration, you will be responsible for validating and automating software and hardware solutions within complex networking environments. This role focuses on building, managing, and testing private clouds, automating server builds, and troubleshooting network infrastructures. The candidate must be adept in automation technologies, infrastructure management, and quality assurance practices.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate software solutions in various testing environments using automation scripts (SiPp, Tsung, and Bash).
  • Automate server builds and infrastructure management using Ansible.
  • Build and configure highly complex voice architectures involving Cisco Broadsoft servers, Sonus SBC, ESG, IAD, PBX, and IP phones.
  • Manage and test private clouds, including RHVM on HPE Synergy platforms.
  • Build and troubleshoot Red Hat Linux servers and related infrastructure.
  • Conduct network troubleshooting on switches, routers, and other networking components.
  • Maintain quality assurance systems for infrastructure reliability, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to identify, document, and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
  • Write and execute automated tests to validate infrastructure configurations and software applications.
  • Participate in design and code reviews to ensure infrastructure meets QA standards.
  • Ensure regression test procedures and automated test suites are properly executed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 2+ years of experience validating infrastructure solutions by writing SiPp, Tsung, and Bash scripts.
  • Experience automating server builds and tasks using Ansible scripts.
  • Expertise in building and configuring voice architectures with Cisco Broadsoft, Sonus SBC, and other telecom equipment.
  • Hands-on experience managing and testing private clouds, including RHVM on HPE Synergy platforms.
  • Proven experience building and troubleshooting Red Hat Linux servers.
  • Experience in network troubleshooting (switches, routers) within enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and infrastructure automation.
