Position Overview – Senior Architect:

The Senior Architect will be responsible for handling professional design activities across a wide variety of project types and to lead staff, as well as assist senior leaders, in production, project management, client management, and related responsibilities. The position is responsible for handling a wide variety of project types and complex professional design activities, including: spatial planning and design, materials, detailing, structural and MEP systems, lighting specifications, and code requirements. The role includes contributing to project delivery and leading and supporting business development activities and firm operations.


The Senior Architect will communicate and collaborate closely with senior management and firm leadership, clients, staff, consultants, vendors and contractors. The position is a solid platform for personal career growth, leading directly to advancement to senior levels, and supports the studio’s overall success and growth.  


Organization, creativity, and the ability to remain pragmatic with a proven foundation in design concepts and principles, practices, and construction are key factors we are looking for. Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, interpersonal and problem-solving skills will lead to success in this role. As a team of passionate designers working together, we rely on our team members to be agile and flexible, humble but driven, with a client-focused mindset. We are results-driven and utilize our broad skillsets on multiple, fast-paced projects every day.


Requirements:

• Proficiency in Revit

• Proficiency in Enscape, renderings, CAD, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Excel and MS Office tools


The Senior Architect will:

• Contribute to producing conceptual and fully executed designs with strong creative design ideas, out-of-the-box preferred

• Manage project-specific budget, schedule, workload, and staffing with little senior oversight

• Have the ability to work with multiple clients, and on multiple projects, simultaneously 

• Contribute to producing conceptual and fully executed designs 

• Collaborate, within project teams and with vendors and consultants, to produce successful design outcomes 

• Be motivated to participate in and support firm Business Development activities 

• Provide mentorship and leadership support to other team members
