Generations at Regency is a premier skilled nursing community in Niles, Illinois, on the banks of the Chicago River. We have a reputation for outstanding quality care and successful rehabilitation outcomes. We offer a home-like setting plus concierge-level service and amenities for seniors needing long-term care or short-term rehabilitation.

Responsibilities of the Restorative CNA:

  • Facilitate rehabilitative/restorative procedures as planned and directed by Restorative Nurse
  • Duties include assisting residents with exercises, ambulation, positioning, transfer training and application of assistive devices and special programs
  • ADLS
  • Document residents' performance and progress, keeping Restorative Nurse apprised of any significant changes
  • Attend weekly department meetings



Requirements:

of the Restorative CNA:

  • CNA Certification in the State of Illinois
  • Minimum 2 years' CNA experience
  • Competency in rehabilitative and restorative care required
  • Completion of Rehabilitation Nursing course preferred
  • Must speak, read and write English
  • Fluency in Polish a big plus
  • Must be compassionate, tolerant and understanding of older adults
