We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Auditing Clerk to join our accounting team. The Auditing Clerk will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring the integrity of our financial data. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in relevant software, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Transaction Posting: Accurately post financial transactions using QuickBooks and other relevant software.
  • Data Entry: Enter debits and credits into accounting software and databases with precision.
  • Report Generation: Produce financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and other financial documents.
  • Accuracy Verification: Review and verify the accuracy of financial reports, figures, and postings.
  • Reconciliation: Identify and reconcile discrepancies in financial records, ensuring that all data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or internal teams regarding financial inquiries.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively within the accounting team, as well as independently, to meet deadlines and maintain the integrity of financial records.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in both team settings and independently
  • Customer service experience is a plus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
