Key Responsibilities:
- Will be working within AIMD and supporting organizations to gather and deliver both functional and technical requirements.
- While the focus of this effort is ensuring that requirements align with overall strategy there may be expertise requested for specific in-depth analysis to support the mission of building the Army of 2030 and developing the Army of 2040.
- The scope of this position shall encompass all AIMD activities and require coordination with government customer.
Required Skills:
- Have expert understanding of DOD, Army, AFC and FCC strategic priorities, mission, and business operations.
- Have the ability to research and incorporate data drawn from a wide range of sources, such as military policy, joint, Army and AFC campaign plans and concepts, and public and private institutions, and incorporate that information as part of AIMD’s strategic engagement plan.
- Have expert ability to develop and congeal teams and ability to use logic and reasoning in ambiguous environments with limited/no formal authority.
- Have excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Have expert ability to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
- Have excellent decision-making skills and ability to influence, motivate, and lead in complex organizational environments.
- Have expert knowledge of the Requirements Management and Joint Capabilities Integration and Development Systems process.
Required Experience:
- Must possess at least twenty (20) years of experience serving in a U.S. military agency as military or civilian in progressively responsible command and staff positions. Additionally, the contractor shall possess the minimum experience identified below in at least three of the following:
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience with service or joint doctrine, to include combat, combat support, and combat service support operations.
- Minimum of six (6) years’ extensive experience with service or joint staff’s organizations, functions and procedures.
- Minimum of six (6) years’ extensive experience with service or joint organizations, operations, and exercises at levels comparable to Army Corps or higher.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the preparation and conduct of Course of Action briefs, seminars, or commander’s initiatives group updates for general and senior field grade officers.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience serving in TRADOC or FCC as a military member or civilian in the areas of Army concepts, integration or capability development.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the compilation and presentation of materials in both written and oral formats in support of general and senior field grade officers.
Education:
- Must possess a Bachelors’ degree
