$20.00 an hour plus full benefits

 Hiring one Full-Time Medical Assistant for a facility in Prescott AZ.

In part, the MA is responsible for assisting Doctors and Nurses in providing care to their patients. Their duties include recording and updating medical histories and contact information in patient files, scheduling patient appointments and performing standard care procedures like drawing blood, checking vitals or collecting lab samples.

As a Medical Assistant, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

    •    Patient Care: Assist with patient intake by taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and preparing patients for examination.
    •    Administrative Duties: Manage front office tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and maintaining patient records.
    •    Clinical Support: Assist physicians during examinations, handle basic laboratory tests, and administer medications as directed.
    •    Medical Equipment Preparation: Sterilize and set up medical instruments and equipment, ensuring that examination rooms are clean and stocked.
    •    Patient Communication: Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care, as well as handle inquiries and provide support.

A few must-haves for Certified Medical Assistants:

  • Medical degree or certification and some MA experience
  • CPR or willing to attain certification for Arizona 
  • Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
  • Compassionate nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

This is a Direct-To-Hire position with immediate availability. The hours are Monday to Friday, with no weekends or holidays. Interim HealthCare is responsible for sourcing and interviewing candidates before presenting final candidates to the facility for the in person interview.
