Job Title: Inventory Cycle Counter
Department: Inventory Control
Accountability: This position reports to the Inventory Supervisor
Responsibilities:
• Enter data into Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
• Perform daily cycle counts of product parts and finished goods; resolves any variances as necessary
• Transfer product parts and finished goods to the designated warehouse locations
• Enters and maintain inventory related data in the ERP and Shop Floor Control software
• Maintain proper housekeeping of the warehouse zones in the 75 and 55 Jacksonville facilities
• Ensure that all usable inventory is properly identified
• Operate a forklift, scissor lift, and pallet jack properly and safely in a limited space environment
• Communicate effectively and respectfully to all team members
• Follow all department and safety procedures of the facility and warehouse zones
Requirements:
• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent, a technical certification, a plus
• Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in a warehouse environment
• Experience using an ERP system is preferred
• Experience using material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet-jacks, carts, etc.) is preferred
• Must have a basic knowledge of data entry in Word and Excel
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English
• Ability to safely operating a forklift and other material handling equipment
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to push-pull a maximum of 1200 lbs. with a manual rolling assist
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, sit, and ladder-climb for more than 1 hour at a time
• Must be able to work at heights of up to 20 feet
• Must be able to perform basic mathematic computations
• Must possess a strong attention to detail
• Visual requirements include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to focus
• General knowledge of workplace safety, a plus
