Job DescriptionJob Description

The YMCA of Greater Richmond is currently seeking enthusiastic Counselors for our Before and After School Child Care programs located at the Midlothian YMCA, JB Watkins Elementary, and Evergreen Elementary. The rate of pay for this position starts at $15.00 per hour.

Duties:

Responsibilities include supervising and engaging with a group of school age children, and participating in group programs. Applicants should be available Monday-Friday, 7-9am and/or 3-6pm.

Qualifications:

  • Applicants should have a minimum of six months of child care experience, preferably in a licensed facility.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum age is 18.

The following certifications are highly desirable:

  • CPR/AED Certification appropriate to age group
  • First Aid Certification
