The Program Director/Program RN is responsible for the efficient and successful functioning of a Geriatric Outpatient Behavioral Health program located at the Medical Center of Caverrna, KY.
The Program Director is responsible for the implementation of the therapeutic program to meet the Hospital Standards, direct and coordinate the activities of staff to ensure quality client care, supervises unit staff, incorporates financial accountability into unit activities, leads and participates in marketing efforts for census development and demonstrates the highest level of professionalism.
The position also provides clinical nursing services as appropriate for the program and completes quality clinical documentation. The Program Director participates as a member of the treatment team which evaluates and monitors patient medical and mental stability as well as progress toward their treatment goals, and coordinates communication between the unit, medical director, primary care physician and other clinical services.
Minimum Requirements: Graduate from a state approved school of nursing and requires an RN Kentucky license. Geriatric and psychiatric experience preferred. 2 years previous management experience preferred. Hours: Day Shift/Full Time
Day Shift, no weekends or holidays
