Medcor Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health Nurse to join our team as a Worksite Health Care Professional in our employer-based, occupational health clinic. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, managing workers' compensation cases, and facilitating Return to Work (RTW) programs.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with medical and operational leadership to develop and implement effective health and wellness programs.
- Provide patient care, including assessment, treatment, and documentation of care using state-of-the-art EMR software.
- Manage workers' compensation cases, including case management, RTW program facilitation, and treatment plan monitoring.
- Work closely with outside medical providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in daily operations, including patient scheduling, triage, and communication with clients and employees.
- Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts, including pre-employment and post-offer screenings.
- Valid Registered Nursing license.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong computer and technology skills, including EMR software.
- Ability to lift a 50lb emergency response bag.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive and outgoing personality.
- Passion for providing exceptional patient care.
- Relevant occupational health experience.
- Experience in emergency medicine or critical care.
