Required Education and Experience:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or a related field.
- One(1)+ years of experience in electronic component manufacturing or a similar field.
- Skilled in Network Analyzer and Impedance Analyzer measurements
- Must have hands-on soldering work experience.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or a related field.
- RF Courses
Essential Functions:
- Primarily testing of JTI high frequency components on a Network Analyzer, Impedance Analyzer, and Boonton 34A resonant line, including other testing as required.
- Organization of Applications Engineering records, both written and computer generated.
- Computerized compilation of data on Excel.
- Frequent soldering of small components onto PC boards.
- Responsible for maintaining the applications lab equipment and verifying/validating performance and calibrations. Operate complex electric test equipment. Write/follow process procedure and specifications.
Attributes and Skills:
- Ability to apply technical skills, troubleshooting, and analysis to solve customer's problems.
- Ability to test for Cap, DF, IR, DWV, ESR, breakdown, and TCC/TVC.
- Ability to apply technical skills, troubleshooting, and analysis to solve customer's problems.
