Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Specialist to join our team and play a crucial role in managing our IT infrastructure, ensuring security, and providing user support.

Location:

Dallas, Tx.

Responsibilities:

 Design, implement, and manage the organization's IT infrastructure to ensure efficiency, reliability, and scalability.

 Administer servers, networks, and systems, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to industry best practices.

 Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard the organization's systems, networks, and data.

 Conduct regular security assessments and audits, addressing vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

 Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues promptly.

 Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems, providing clear and concise instructions to users.

 Manage software installations, updates, and patches to ensure a secure and up-to-date computing environment.

 Coordinate with vendors for hardware maintenance and repairs, ensuring minimal downtime.

 Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery plans to protect critical data and ensure business continuity.

 Conduct regular tests of backup and recovery systems to validate their effectiveness.

 Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for IT systems, configurations, and procedures.

 Develop and update user guides and training materials as needed.

Requirements:

 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

 Proven experience as an IT Specialist or similar role.

 In-depth knowledge of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.

 Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.

 Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

 Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery procedures.

 Certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals are a plus.

 Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
