Avanti Restaurant Solutions, a successful, privately held, $75M company, is hiring a Commercial Kitchen Equipment Delivery Driver/Installation Apprentice. A Commercial Kitchen Equipment Driver/ Apprentice Installer is responsible for loading and unloading delivery truck and safely driving truck to and from project job sites. The apprentice will learn kitchen equipment installation skills from tradesmen. Duties could entail uncrating, assembling, setting, and leveling in place commercial kitchen equipment. Duties and responsibilities performed by the driver are intended to support Avanti Restaurant Solutions installation efforts for regional projects, both chain and contract.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Drive a box truck. (No special license required)
  • Load-Unload truck and safely move equipment to limit damage
  • Train to learn the duties performed by installation tradesmen of commercial kitchen equipment
  • Support warehouse manager to prepare jobs for delivery to site.
  • Support installation efforts with Field Supervisor, contractor, and/or customer
  • Attend required safety and product training
  • Adhere to all company safety standards and protocol
  • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times
  • Daily truck cleaning
  • Communicate with Field Supervisor on job progress

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must pass a background check
  • Must have a clean motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 Lbs.
  • Excellent customer service attitude
  • Flexible in schedule to enable the company to meet customer needs – overtime and weekends may be necessary and required.

This is a full-time non-exempt position.
Compensation: $23 - $25/ hour
Benefits offered: health, dental and vision insurance, matching 401K, PTO, and company sabbatical
