Pepper Palace is seeking a dedicated and organized HR Assistant to join our team. This entry-level HR role is primarily focused on the onboarding and offboarding of employees, performing general HR and administrative duties, and providing cross-functional support in various areas of the company, including customer service. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of confidentiality and, while a degree is not required, HR experience is preferred.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Onboarding and Offboarding:

  • Employee Onboarding: Assign electronic onboarding tasks to new employees.
  • Systems Access Management: Ensure new employees have the necessary systems access and terminate access for departing employees.
  • HRIS Management: Terminate employees in the HR Information System (HRIS) and update records as needed.

General HR Duties:

  • Administrative Support: Assist with various HR administrative functions, such as filing, data entry, and maintaining employee records.
  • HR Support: Assist in various HR functions and respond to employee inquiries.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, contracts, and performance records.

Cross-Functional Support:

  • Customer Service: Provide support to the customer service team as needed, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

General Responsibilities:

  • Compliance: Ensure all HR activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with employees and management, providing clear and timely information.
  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve employee concerns and issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in HR or related field is a plus.
  • Preferably 1-2 years of experience in an HR role or similar administrative position.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • High level of technical proficiency.
