ProteQ is seeking an Engineering Technician V to support ROV & UUV Service Support for EODGRU ONE units of action throughout all phases of force deployment, redeployment, and sustainment for EOD training, exercises, and missions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Required services will consist of robotic technician support for preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) on government-owned equipment, operational training for Navy EOD Technicians, and to manage the logistics support functions that enable PM, CM, and training services therein. Technician roles will accomplish CM and PM functions, Training, Asset Management, and tasking as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or 5 years' work-related experience in operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and testing of electrical/electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required security clearance that would facilitate access to Naval Bases and unclassified IT networks through issuance of a Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Capable of operating test equipment, electrical hand tools, basic hand tools and be knowledgeable with basic computer science.
  • Experience in intermediate and depot level repairs of robotics systems.
  • Submit Robotic Systems Certifications (RSC) checklist for maintenance performed on all assigned units.
  • Have working knowledge in requisitioning procedures, receipt processing, warehouse operations, hazardous material (HAZMAT) usage/storage, on-load/offload, and transportation procedures.
  • Warehouse management functions include basic knowledge and must be able to operate Material Handling Equipment, such as pallet jacks, hand-trucks and up to 6,000-pound forklifts.
  • Must possess a valid Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) approved forklift license/certificate.
  • Must possess a valid state driver's license and reliable means of transportation.
  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams and SharePoint.
  • Training/instructor experience to include on the job (OJT) and classroom environment(s) as well as operations, and/or field troubleshooting and maintenance procedures.
  • Training curriculum development skills to include training course maintenance, development of training materials, including manuals, course outlines and other training resources as required.
  • Detailed working knowledge of the Navy Material and Maintenance Management (3M) program, OEM technical manuals, drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Proficiency in generating reports for monthly, technical, trips and other reporting as required.
  • Ability to travel OCONUS as required in the execution of tasking.
  • Must possess a U.S. Passport valid for at least one year upon hire.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active SECRET clearance or higher
  • Experience with 3D printing technology.
  • Experience with the Defense Property Accounting System (DPAS).
  • Experience with government provided Robotic Systems Certification (RSC) checklist.
  • Knowledge of Apple Computer systems.
