HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

As an Advertising Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting public relations and advertising campaigns in addition to help create, iterate and execute Henderson's PR and social media strategy. This role also supports sales including literature, shows and events and Early Order programs. Specific duties include the following:

  • Plan, support and execute effective event marketing opportunities including trade shows, dealer events and contractor events.
  • Create and support show and media kits.
  • Monitor the brand image across platforms for standardization and consistency.
  • Drive execution of social media strategy across social channels – manage day to day updates, response management and proactive engagement of industry influences.
  • Plan and execute the layout of various print and digital signage projects.
  • Study and evaluate the social media landscapes to assess whether new approaches in the social media discipline are applicable for the company’s use.
  • Analyze communicate relationship opportunities to ensure goals are within the parameters of the public relationship strategy.
  • Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry.
  • Monitor competitive brand social media campaigns including but not limited to:
    • Website content changes
    • Website traffic
    • Facebook, Twitter, Instagram accounts
  • Log, distribute, and respond to customer questions via mail and email through the websites.
  • Process literature and product manual requests as necessary.

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS:

  • BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications is preferred.
  • Some experience in event marketing and planning experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and Adobe creative suite.
  • Experience with social media formats.
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills both verbal and written.
  • Experience with analytical assessment/good analytics and report writing skills preferred.
