Commercial Lines Account Manager

Position Overview:
- Collaborate closely with the manufacturing and marketing departments to develop new business prospects and cross-sell more items.
- Maintain current understanding of industry developments, laws, and coverage alternatives to provide customers with the best solutions.
- Create and build great connections with clients by offering outstanding customer service and support.
- Manage and supervise commercial line accounts, including renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
- Provide assistance and advise to customers regarding policy coverage, risk management, and claims administration.
- Process new policies, renewals, and modifications to existing policies while assuring correct and timely completion.
- Use industry-specific software, such Applied/Epic and CSR24, to manage accounts and conduct transactions.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace, accepting extra duties as needed.
- Prepare and provide insurance proposals, quotations, and policy renewals to clients.
Qualifications:
- Current Texas Property & Casualty Insurance License, or capacity to get one within a reasonable timeline.
- Proven expertise in commercial insurance, with a thorough awareness of industry processes and terminology.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with great attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience with Applied/Epic (Agency Management Software) and CSR24 (Certificate Processing Software) is advantageous.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, with the ability to establish and sustain client relationships.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary, although a college degree or comparable study is preferred.
