Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and service-oriented Wine Sales Associate to join our team As a Wine Sales Associate, you will assist customers with their wine and retail product shopping needs, ensure an excellent shopping experience, and generate brand loyalty. Responsibilities include working the register, stocking shelves, processing inventory, and maintaining the stores appearance. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service and a desire to grow in the role.

Responsibilities
  • Greet each customer with a smile and provide assistance while they are shopping
  • Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures
  • Work at a register to ring up and carry out customer sales
  • Collect payments by cash and credit card
  • Issue receipts and refunds to customers
  • Take added responsibility for stocking, and store maintenance
  • Receive, count, and confirm inventory arrives in expected condition
  • Communicate inventory processing details to management
  • Collaboratively price and place new inventory items into service
  • Drive sales by participating in targeted product promotions and initiatives as set forth by the company
  • Develop and maintain solid product knowledge in order to best help customers with their selections
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of retail shop and products
  • Answer company phone to assist customers with various requests
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively
  • Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service
  • Willingness to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to quickly and accurately work a register
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule
