Job Description

  • Loads, unloads, and moves materials within the plant, yard, and work site.
  • Reads work orders and/or follows verbal instructions.
  • Opens containers using steel cutters, crowbar, clawhammer, etc.
  • Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areas using fork truck, hand truck, or other device.
  • Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials.
  • Lifts heavy objects by using a power hoist.
  • Assembles crates.
  • Operates industrial truck or electric crane/hoist.
Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous fork truck and overhead crane experience preferred.
