Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:

The TeenQuest Facilitator will work directly with high school students, providing support and positive relationship building techniques, while facilitating core employment competencies.


Responsibilities:

  • Ability to deliver and modify structured experiences for students (Facilitator vs. Lecturer)
  • Become knowledgeable of the TeenQuest program modules and apply learning objectives
  • Administer required program components
  • Participate in pre and post meetings with site facilitation team members
  • Ability to utilize crisis management strategies
  • Assist with maintaining and managing site facilitation
  • Practice effective time management and conflict management techniques with site facilitation team members and students
  • Attend bi-weekly meetings



Requirements:
  1. Must be at least 18 years of age
  2. High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred, Business, Education or related program
  3. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience career, workforce or youth development
  4. Must be passionate about the development and well-being of teens
  5. Must be flexible, dependable, and stable. Must be able to handle a high stress environment and still interact appropriately
  6. Possess strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  7. Ability to work with large and diverse groups of students and adults
  8. Able to manage multiple priorities, detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic
  9. Strong critical thinking and problem resolution skills.
  10. Must be able to read, write, and type using Microsoft Word.
  11. Should be comfortable using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, and have the ability to participate in virtual meetings via Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and/or Google Meet.
  12. Must have reliable transportation.
  13. Must be able to pass a criminal history background check.

Salary: Commensurate with experience
