TeenQuest Facilitator

Flint & Genesee Group is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a TeenQuest Facilitator. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of high school students by providing support and guidance as they develop essential employment competencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and modify structured experiences for students to promote career readiness and job skills.
• Become knowledgeable of the TeenQuest program modules and apply learning objectives to support student success.
• Administer required program components and participate in pre and post meetings with site facilitation team members.
• Utilize crisis management strategies to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.
• Assist with maintaining and managing site facilitation, including effective time management and conflict resolution techniques.
• Attend bi-weekly meetings to stay informed and aligned with program goals.

Requirements:

1. Must be at least 18 years of age.
2. High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred in Business, Education, or a related field.
3. Minimum of three (3) years' experience in career, workforce, or youth development.
4. Must be passionate about the development and well-being of teens.
5. Must be flexible, dependable, and stable, with the ability to handle a high-stress environment.
6. Possess strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
7. Ability to work with large and diverse groups of students and adults.
8. Able to manage multiple priorities, detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic.
9. Strong critical thinking and problem resolution skills.
10. Must be able to read, write, and type using Microsoft Word.
11. Should be comfortable using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, and have the ability to participate in virtual meetings via Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and/or Google Meet.
12. Must have reliable transportation.
13. Must be able to pass a criminal history background check.

Salary: Commensurate with experience
