Job DescriptionJob Description

Join our team to support individuals on their journey to recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Detox Drug and Alcohol Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team in Philadelphia.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing detoxification from drugs and alcohol.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' physical and mental health status.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients closely for withdrawal symptoms and adverse reactions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and their families about detoxification processes and coping strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.

Compensation: $45-50/hr

Shift: 7PM - 7:30AM

Schedule: 2 nights a week + EOW (Sat-Sun)

Requirements:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in detox or substance abuse treatment settings.
  • Strong knowledge of detoxification protocols and medication management.
  • Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Compassionate and nonjudgmental attitude towards individuals struggling with addiction.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BLS/ACLS certification.
