JOB SUMMARY:
To promote the mission of PATH to help individuals achieve a more independent and fulfilling life by being an effective team member. The Children/Youth Services Drug & Alcohol Therapist will be responsible for the delivery of clinical services, to adolescents and their families who are either at risk for or actively engaging in substance use/abuse.
QUALIFCATIONS:
- Master’s degree in human services field from an accredited college or university
- One year post-Master's experience working with youth/families and drug & alcohol experience required.
- Knowledge of substance use issues and treatment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- LCSW, LMFT, LPC preferred. License eligible within 6 months of employment.
- COVID-19 vaccination, or willingness to receive vaccine required
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Provide individual, family, couple and group therapy for adolescents and their families utilizing approved treatment modalities and interventions
- Collaborate closely with all systems involved with each assigned youth and document all case management activity
- Be aware of clients’ financial liabilities, coordinate any financial changes with PATH’s Billing Department, and assist clients in securing third party resources when indicated
- Complete all required documentation including treatment plans, assessments, annual reviews, progress notes and discharge summaries in a timely, comprehensive and legible manner and in accordance with PATH policies and procedures
- Contribute to any quality improvement/outcome measurement tracking, development and data gathering as assigned
- Collect all pertinent information and provide comprehensive assessments in accordance with PATH policies and procedures
- Be flexible in scheduling appointments to meet youth/family needs
- Meet productivity standards for your position, which includes direct and indirect standards.
- Provide community based services and/or service delivery as assigned
