Social Media Specialist

Description:

As a Social Media Specialist at The Springs Resort, you will be key in elevating and growing our brand through compelling and engaging content across various social media platforms. Working under the direction of the Marketing Director and guidance of the Content Manager, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity, interact with our diverse digital community, and contribute towards our broader marketing goals.


Responsibilities:


Social Media Content Creation:

  • Craft, place, and coordinate social media posts and videos on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Threads, and any emerging platforms.
  • Ensure content aligns with the resort brand identity and tone.
  • Optimize formats and messaging for different platforms and audiences.

Social Media Management:

  • Execute social strategies and campaigns to meet or exceed established KPIs across our brand's social media presence.
  • Respond to comments, questions, and messages promptly and helpfully, while increasing engagement metrics.
  • Monitor conversations about our brand and industry and increase engagement where appropriate.
  • Oversee coordination of any external contributors or agencies, such as influencers.
  • Coordinate with Content Manager to launch engaging digital community initiatives, giveaways, and contests to drive audience participation and brand awareness.

Performance and Strategy:

  • Analyze social media data and review performance against KPIs.
  • Identify new social media opportunities, platforms, and trends.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align social initiatives with broader goals.
  • Develop and pitch new social strategies and campaigns.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging platforms, and new technologies to ensure the resort remains at the forefront of social media innovation.

General Marketing Assistance:

Occasionally assist the marketing and sales teams with tasks, including but not limited to event coordination, promotional campaigns, and collaborative efforts to drive business growth.


Requirements:


Qualifications:

  • Must report to The Springs Resort Property for daily duties; Non-Remote position
  • 2+ years of experience managing social media for a D2C brand.
  • Deep knowledge of major social platforms and emerging trends.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and reporting abilities.
  • Experienced in creating branded social content (text, graphics, video).
  • Adobe Creative Cloud or Canva experience a plus.
  • Passionate about digital marketing and social engagement.
