As a Dog Bather, you will play a crucial role in the grooming process, ensuring that pets are clean, comfortable, and ready for grooming services. You will be responsible for bathing, drying, and brushing dogs of all sizes and breeds while maintaining a calm and stress-free environment for them. Occasionally assisting the groomers with their dogs.


We are looking for a bather from Friday - Tuesday from 8am - until finished, usually around 2-5pm.

- Experience working in a dog grooming facility for a minimum of 1 - 2 years is REQUIRED

Requirements:

- Experience working in a dog grooming facility for a minimum of 1 - 2 years.

- Bathe dogs thoroughly, ensuring they are clean and free of dirt, debris, and odors.

- Dry and brush out dogs to remove tangles and loose fur.

- Trim nails, clean ears, and brush teeth as needed.

- Assist groomers by preparing dogs for haircuts or other grooming services.

- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, including disinfecting bathing tubs, cleaning crate trays and kennels, cleaning hair off fans, kennels, shelving, windowsill, and floor.

- Handle pets with care and patience to reduce stress and anxiety.

- Identify any potential skin conditions, parasites, or abnormalities and report them to the groomer or manager.

- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with pet owners professionally and addressing any concerns.
