Position Summary
Perform duties to assemble wiring harnesses, power pack, and other electrical sub-assemblies.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities
- Work from procedure checklists, assembly drawings, schematics, and written instructions
- Construct and install wiring harnesses.
- Assemble other electrical sub-assemblies as assigned.
- Exercise proper care in the use of tools, equipment, and materials
- Detect and report faulty equipment, defective material, improper operations, and unusual conditions to supervision.
- Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain the work area in a neat and orderly condition.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to operate warehouse equipment to include pallet jackets, forklifts, carts, and dollies with a load up to 450 lbs.
Experience and Education
- High school diploma / GED equivalent
- 3 years of assembling light to medium assemblies and/or complex electronic equipment required.
- Must be a team player.
- Prior experience working with soldering irons, multi-meters, and other hand tools required.
