Your skill set.

 

  • Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Architecture
  • Architectural licensure required
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Newforma
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to effectively manage multiple simultaneous projects
  • Willingness to delegate responsibility and to work with others and coach them to develop their capabilities
  • Positively contributes to operational and management systems to better support all team and firm goals
  • Ability to communicate within a creative team environment
  • Complex problem-solving and critical thinking abilities are essential

  

A day in the life of a sr. project architect.

 

  • Serve as the primary consultant liaison and a secondary client liaison to complete projects on schedule, within budget, and with maximum client satisfaction
  • Work with the design lead to develop overall project design concepts and development process to ensure that construction documents conform with A&E Design's agreement with the client
  • Provide technical expertise to generate documents for projects ranging in size and scope
  • Ensure quality control on all deliverables
  • May estimate fees, determine scope of work, and prepares proposals and contracts for principal review
  • May serve as project manager or with closely with project managers to ensure integrity of project scope, budget and design
  • Understands the fundamental relationships and contractual obligations between the designer, consultants, owner and contractors 
  • Represent A&E Design in all client communications at regular intervals between all stages of the agreement and post-agreement activities
  • Prepare client agreements with defined scope and schedule, educating clients about the defined terms
  • Schedule, attend, and record all meetings with clients, project team members, and stakeholder groups
  • Works collaboratively with project team and clients to assure project team success.
  • Maintain constant updates related to project completion, including schedule and billing milestones
  • Strive to innovate, learn, and improve, never settling for the status quo
