Position Summary:

Provide organized and friendly customer service to our Agfinity Energy customers in the office, by phone, and through email. Share information with customers about our products and services. Collaborate with Operations on new account set-ups, order creation, and delivery or service requests.

Essential Functions:

  • Answer incoming phone calls and emails for the Energy division to assist customers with new account setup, service or fuel order creation, processing payments.
  • Provide customer information for our available products and services.
  • Document and resolve customer concerns in a timely manner
  • Forward customer to other departments including Credit, Billing, and Admin as required to effectively serve their specific needs.
  • Heavy use of Microsoft Outlook mail and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets daily

Other Duties:

  • Utilize a Windows-based computer with our account management programs to input and schedule customer requests and payments.
  • Contact customers to schedule appointments or notify of updates to their existing appointments

Education:

High School Diploma

Experience:

  • One (1) year related job experience in a call-center or front-facing customer service environment
  • Experience in customer routing, problem solving, and escalation
  • Demonstrated experience in organizing multiple responsibilities and prioritizing

Knowledge:

  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of the Windows OS environment
  • MS Outlook navigation
  • MD Excel spreadsheet creation and navigation

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Maintain a mature daily attitude and work ethic towards our customers and teammates.
  • Knowing how to adjust/stay focused during both slow and busy workloads

Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to read and comprehend verbal instructions related to our training, processes, products, and services
  • Ability to recognize problems involving several variables in changing situations.
  • Ability to reference multiple resources to resolve customer issues.
  • Ability to “hear what is not stated” For example: Recognizing when a customer is frustrated, or when it would be a good idea to ask extra questions to resolve their needs.
  • Ability to recognize when a customer situation goes beyond CSR-level training/expertise and when to seek assistance or escalation

  • Physically comfortable (Office)
