We are searching for an Accounts Receivable Coordinator who will be responsible to ensure the billing transactions for our Endodontic and Oral surgery practices are processed timely and accurately.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform billing and collection activities by communicating with providers, payors , and patients.
  • Research and examine claims.
  • Work with payor and provider offices on payment denials, rejections, and accuracy of payments.
  • Post EFT, check payments and credit card payments.
  • Enter patient’s insurance information in practice management software.
  • Set up primary and secondary insurance information on patient records.
  • Submit claims to insurance companies.
  • Process insurance payments.
  • Submit records and appeals as needed.
  • Print and mail patient statements.
  • Process outstanding claims reports.
  • Answer phones to service patients and referring providers.
Requirements:
  • Medical billing and insurance experience required.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be detailed oriented, accurate, and reliable.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Punctual and willing to work in a team environment.
  • Follow protocols and guidelines as they relate to patient privacy (HIPAA/OSHA).
