Position pays a generous base salary and commission structure that works well for those who are disciplined and follow our proven sales process. Your compensation will grow as you gain experience. Upward mobility and personal development are priorities with this agency. You will receive on-the-job training through job-shadowing and online training with Allstate's online platform.   • Total compensation including commission typically $80,000 to $100,000 in first year.
  • Base salary $40,000 to $60,000 depending on experience, plus commission on sales.

Responsibilities

Call prospects, quote insurance policies, develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, make recommendations for products and services, close sales.

Build relationships with referral sources - realtors, mortgage brokers, others.

Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.

Work with the agency owner and sales manager to establish and exceed sales goals.

Maintain a strong work ethic with a commitment to success and improvement each and every day.

Use a customized insurance review process to educate customers about insurance options.

Maintain an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude daily.


Requirements
  • Sales experience required, current Property and Casualty license or willing to get licensed, career advancement opportunities provided.
  • Experience in the following areas preferred: sales, insurance sales, sales management, customer service, sales producer, business development, relationship management, client relationship development, sales pipeline management, commission sales.
  • Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
  • Self-motivated
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and be coachable
  • A great self starter
  • Basic computer skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and various windows applications.
