Position Summary:

As a frontrunner in the quick-lube automotive equipment sector, Devon Industries specializes in the design, manufacture, and installation of high-quality service equipment aimed at revolutionizing oil change and maintenance processes in automotive workshops. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Operations Coordinator will be an integral part of our team, responsible for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing and distribution operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management within the automotive or manufacturing sectors, with a keen ability to oversee multiple aspects of our business, from inventory management, event coordination, liaising with clients, quality control and process optimization.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Coordinate and oversee daily operational activities, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow and meeting production targets.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as making travel arrangements, answering phones, scheduling meetings, conferences, and other tasks as needed.
  • Liaise with various departments, including purchasing, installation, and sales.
  • Implement and refine operational procedures and practices to improve overall efficiency and productivity.
  • Assist cross-functional teams with warranty repair orders
  • Analyze operational performance data to identify trends, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to uphold product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on operational performance, budgeting, challenges, and progress towards goals.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors degree in operations management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an Operations Coordinator or Administrative role.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives.
