Key Responsibilities:

  • Data submission: Submitting medical claims to insurance companies with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Claim processing: Overseeing all claims processing activities in our clearinghouse.
  • AR reporting: Providing accurate and timely AR reports to management.
  • Insurance updates: Adding new insurance payers to our system and maintaining up-to-date information.
  • Claim follow-up: Aggressively pursuing unpaid claims with insurance companies.
  • Team support: Assisting team members with inquiries and providing guidance.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in medical billing.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and coding (CPT, ICD-10).
  • Proficiency in using medical billing software.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation:

$23.00-26.00 Hourly
