Hilton Marco Island Resort and Spa is currently seeking a dynamic Gulf Cart and Pool Bartender to join the best team on Marco Island

POSITION PURPOSE:

Serving food and beverage to guests on the beach, in a friendly, courteous and timely manner, resulting in guest satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Checks stations (Service Stations, Golf Cart, Satellite bar, and Section etc.) before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness, keep service station stocked and neat. Perform all assigned side work to include replenishing condiments and restocking side stands
  • Greets guests via Gulf Cart in a friendly and courteous manner and explain any specials and/or drink/beverage promotions for guest awareness.
  • Take orders, reciting selection of all call and premium brands as requested, requires memorization of all available drinks.
  • Records the details of the order from the guests, repeating the order to the guest to check for accuracy.
  • Inputs orders into point of sale system to inform bartender an order was made in a timely manner.
  • Checks and maintains proper set-up and cleanliness of service station before, during and after shift. Clean the work area, furniture, etc.
  • Replenish beverages as requested. Check with guest to inquire about service and meal satisfaction.
  • Presents the check to guest promptly. Receives payment (Cash, Credit Card, Room Charge, and Travelers Check) from guests, makes any change needed, records charges, and ensures vouchers are properly executed and balanced all monies at end of their shift.
  • Properly maintain the Gulf Cart at all times including prepping it for the day, maintaining it throughout the day and prepping it for the next day. Cart must also be cleaned each day and parked in the correct location.

SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS:

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the hotel.
