Job Description

Dobbs Defense Solutions is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator who will play a vital role in supporting the execution of HR initiatives and policies in collaboration with our leadership team. This position is essential to advancing our organization's mission, core values, and business objectives. We are looking for an individual who is eager to learn and grow in the field of HR.

Duties

  • Support the management and administration of our benefits program, ensuring that our team members have access to essential resources.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating training initiatives, including employee development, compliance training, and other programs.
  • Contribute to performance management processes, including performance reviews and addressing employee needs.
  • Collaborate with the management team to foster a positive employee culture aligned with Dobbs Defense's mission and values.
  • Utilize HR technology platforms for tasks such as onboarding, benefits administration, and performance management.
  • Assist in maintaining the Employee Handbook, ensuring its relevance and compliance.
  • Work closely with the staffing team on position descriptions, compensation analysis, and offer letters.
  • Perform other assigned HR duties.

Qualifications

Required education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR are a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR roles.
  • Basic knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organizational and project management skills.
